Great to hear :+1:t2:

Well done all 3 on the long run
How long did the winner take to completec110 mikes running ?
That’s just crazy

Imagine just how good GB would be if he actually trained ?!
Star quality

The oldies both did yourselves proud made todays efforts from me look pretty boring
I’ll post up later been as it was actually a race!

Cracking T2 and @Mr-me is up into the podium

He’s 5th? I think Keith must have been a few minutes into the water after him. But he seems to be making ground.

Sub 9 might be on again :flushed:

Yeah you’re right, do you think Matthew is ahead on course but Keith quicker but starting later

I got the impression Matt started a few minutes ahead and took time on the swim.

Keith was fastest off the bike but looks like ME is reeling him in? I’d expect Matt to be 15 minutes quicker on the run, maybe more if he drops another 3:13!

Matt is making up ground but 2 of them are around the same pace as him.

Looks like a pretty good field, think there’s a few after a Nice slot.

Also watching M55, some German guy is running away with it!

So back to defend my “ rowathon “ title at Oulton this morning
A huge field
Me
A guy who switched to the shorter event but was a very good rower
And an older lady doing her first ever multi sport event

I WON !

Lol.

It’s not all bad
I went 7 mins quicker overall than this time last year doing exactly the same race in possibly worse conditions wet and blustery whilst getting a year older

Row 5 k 20:25
Bike 39 k 1:06 ( 35.5 kph )
Run 8.4 kms in 34:40 ( 4:10?) kms

Amazing what happens when you go to the gym twice a day and have no life,

More importantly I really really enjoyed it,
Usual coffee CUP and a huub voucher for my efforts.

Hyrox Birmingham and Manchester incoming in the next few weeks.
Grim.

Hardly a huge ultra or age group Ironman glory but keeps me busy.
Onwards

There’s a chance we’re going to have to dig the sub 9 thread up again for Matt :flushed:
