First snapped chain for many years this evening, fortunately only 13km into Watopia rather than anywhere more inconvenient
My zwift bike is an absolute wreck, it was £299 from Halfords in about 2007 & I have a bad feeling that’s the original chain 
Anyone else still riding 8 speed?

Stick a zwift cog on and go virtual shifting whilst putting a new chain on.
Sure it’s on deal at the moment.

Thanks @mw22, just looked into that. Looks great & I wish I could but doesn’t look like the Saris H3 is compatible.
Unless I’m wrong? Some stuff on Reddit about using 3rd party software as a workaround, but somehow that sounds likely to go wrong & opening up a world of frustration

Bike chain is approaching 0.75 worn, can just about get the checker in but needs force. Worth changing now or wait a little bit? Can’t remember the last new chain I bought, ridden this one for years as waxing makes wear really slow.

Seconded. Chains are cheap. Cassettes and chainrings are expensive. Worn chains wear cassettes and chainrings excessively. I recommend a gold chain
