Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
Wrote like a true TCS followerā¦they do look nice!
I ride with at least six people with an S-Works, and Iāve no beef with them at all, but Iām sure you get the impression I like to stand out from the crowd
They can come in turquoise, too
I want this oneā¦. Seriously considering one as my single road bike solution

I replaced the press fit with a Token Ninja a couple of years ago and has been fine since then. Probably just needs a service.
My roadie has had a creaking headset for years, I gave up trying to fix it. Kicks in on climbs.
I think you need to take it apart such that the only way to reassemble it is with a crown race fitting device. Or something. Itās been a few years since I built a bike.
Other ways forward:
- Ride on noisy roads
- Ride with earphones in
- Ride only indoors
- Throw bike into field
Joe - a lot of the time, I donāt understand what youāre talking about
But today, it feels like youāve really understood my dilemma and uncontained rage with this innocuous creaking
So thanks.
Option 4 will be utilised.
As option 2 didnāt work on Sunday.
And nor did option 1.
Option 3 is just as bad, with the fans
You can make a crown race fitting tool out of some bits of plastic pipe from B and Q for a few quid. Or better still only buy headsets with a split crown race
A man after my own heart
Thatās like my press fit removal tool
Internally routed brake cables ā¦
Seems like one of them was rubbing on the fork steerer.
I think.
Whatever it was has now gone
Thatās because all the fluid has leaked out.
No way, that never occurred to me, Iāll have to check mine tomorrowā¦
