Could you fly to Alicante and drive? Loads of flights to there for the usual mouthbreathers that just want chicken & chips, beer and sun 
Sadly I witnessed the aftermath of this, oxygen bag and CPR on the poor chap and the other not looking too smart but sitting up.
It was a head on collision but this section wasn’t overly narrow - there were no cones separating the out and back sections. People were riding recklessly all day overtaking inside and out, overtaking an overtaker etc and massive packs of 15-20 riders wheel to wheel.
