It reminded me of that, I only saw the men’s race, caught a lot of the bike and found a pub to watch Ali win it 
We were on holiday in the midlands and made a late decision to get the train to the big city for the day.
Then was watching us win some track cycling medals in John Lewis

Yes and no - I think the power spikes coming out of the corners as it stretches out are pretty big, so it’s better to be near the front.

I spent start of day at Kings college getting some trauma work done on my teeth after a big bike crash a couple months earlier, where they offered to do a free implant! then train to centre for a bit of tri and off to stadium for evening session with men’s 1500m, some 100m hurdles and high jump/discuss finals. watched track cycling on big screen in park. Fantastic day!
