Insured to the hilt or just winging it?

One thing I forgot to mention was that I never ride my bike without being insured. It was rammed home to me how important that is when I had my huge accident in Sydney when i had a kid run out in front of me. Now my actions avoided the kid and completely smashed myself to bits but if my reactions had been slower, that could have a been a different story. I ended up winning the case but if I hadn’t and had no insurance, doesn’t bear thinking about.

I think the post about my mate on Transitions got me thinking about this.
