Really? That seems about £100 light for IM.
I have a voucher for “any German triathlon” they said I could use for IM Frankfurt…
I suspect that is because it will be tier 1 for pre-entry people?
Could be, and I know all races are priced slightly differently. Italy was €569 in tier 2 so even cheaper. Gues I’m just used to paying last minute through the nose price 
It cost me 697 euros inc day licence. Processing fee was 58 euros

The last 2 years, although I’ve trained, I’ve been very unfocused.
I’m more about the training that the racing, so it’s about finding “that” race
It’s a course that suits me.
I’ll be aging up
I know everything about the race and surroundings.

Solid basis to return and makes sense just need the elements to align and I’m sure you’ll nail it there
Sure I will return one day but for your exact reasons my intention from this year onwards all efforts to go into Ironman wales as I live on the course basically and went well there in my first ever Ironman.
Frankfurt was always about going back for that BIG championship race feel and try to nail another sub 10 but that fast course goal is gonna shift from Frankfurt to Roth or Hamburg in the future and wales as an all in effort for KQ next few years.
Frankfurt is beautiful but savage beast to tame

Priority ended last night at midnight according to my email.
I wake up now with a sense of fear, and a sense of direction for my life.
Heat is the big challenge I think for this one, so I need to lose the natural insulation over the winter…
