Haug is out, flat tyre
Seems outrageous to me that a flat can end a race. If they’re providing mechanical support then IMO it should be able to help that close to the start. I know the car was on the course but a car with the leaders isn’t much support.

Nice to hear Haug joining to commentate a bit and being so positive. Must take a lot to not just FRO and go home to sulk.

Comment was that it was too congested to have a mechanic car on the course that close to the start for athlete safety reasons.

I heard that and thought that they manage with the Shimano motos on the pro tour in very narrow spaces. You could have the car where it is/was and a couple of motos with other groups. They wait at T1 and go at intervals with some athletes.

I have to say I like the course profile at the bottom of the screen - gives a good overview of where they are on the course and what’s ahead of them.

Year on year the coverage improves, think how bad it was in the facebook live days with split streams and regular drop outs. You Tube really is a good live stream platform.
