Kona 25

No one on forums, podcasts or YouTube even mentioned him.

Can I give a bit of love to Schomburg, Thompson and Riddle? Amazing they have held their places through the run - Norway has it now but these guys are to watch next year!

Two top tens for USA gives them hope as well.

Chat is saying Iden just blew chunks

I saw a couple picking him, Talbot had him for 3rd behind Gustav and Laidlow, but not many

Think 6-10th is unexpected too - What happened to Ditlev and Chevalier? I saw Lange falling back badly at the start of the bike, is he coming through at all?

DNF for Ditlev apparently, was sat in a shelter on the run course, unless he gets going and jogs it home.

I thought about it but just couldnt pick him above others… how wrong I was.

Chev had a mare. Miles back on the bike.

Chat says Lange is running 3:35/km but obvs not near the top ten yet

Just imagine getting the round in with these three at y our table

I don’t know how they switch back to the other commentators at this point

Nearly 2 minutes, race over presumably. His first year of ironman distance, 3rd full race and his first win. Lots of 70.3 wins over the years including Nice 2021

So looks like he’ll run his way to 10th, but then quite a bit gap Riddle has over those chasing behind him for 9th

It was the 3rd in Frankfurt that made me think of him but 4 minutes behind Blumm so dismissed him.

Who’s thta douche thinking he’s Iden’s pacer right now?

I noticed him doing it to Blu a little while ago too.

Wonder what truly happened to Laidlow in the swim. He’ll be thinking what could have been if he’d come out with Schomberg and gone in that first group

Age groupers on the run be like “WTAF” as Casper goes past them at 17min 5km pace :joy:

Who is #1817 - running with Blu?

There’s a bit of Brownlee-head about Laidlow. Bad swim but then he rips his legs off chasing back, running through the group and then leading it. Doesn’t work his way back patiently.

Is Blu injured, that’s a hobble he’s doing!

Edit: cramp or hamstring!

He stopped during the swim didn’t he? Was with the leaders then dropped and came in ~2 minutes back.

Commentators said he was stopped stretching his back in T1 :person_shrugging:

But yes he certainly always races to win, and accepting he might blow

2:29:22 run for Stornes
