He’s originally from somewhere round Cumbria, but lives in France and used to do the tri circuit over there (his dad runs poissy? tri). He won lakesman in 2019 in 8:2x as his first iron distance (ran a marathon on the Tuesday before he said)…my future claim to fame is I got to stand on the podium with him (will dine out on that photo when he wins big 
). The podium had 5 at lakesman
