Agree, make regional champs mean more than just calling an existing race the champs with no other difference to other years. Make then something aspire to qualifying for.

Problem is a good chunk of IM Corp success is from selling the Kona dream, second only to the (?unsustainable) turnover of people wanting to tick off a different different challenge and move on (he ironically says as borderline this type…)

That makes sense for WTC too, you have to race at least 2 races to get there then. Regionals would then have to have a lot of slots per AG relative to individual races now. That regional could move so that tougher courses like Tenby, Lanza get used.

I’ll enter IM Blackpool to get my slot for the Euro champs!
