Due to a fortunate set of circumstances I was able to be organised enough to make some 48hr marinaded beef brisket (quality beef from local butcher) and it was deeeeeeelicious. Filthy rich and soft. :yum:

I’m no sort of cook but am home alone today so thought I’d have a crack at making stew and bread.

progress so far…




following a BBC good food recipe. Stew currently on low temp in the oven, think bread dough has risen enough so it’s in the fridge until time to bake for tea :bread:
