Is the Chinese Belt & Road also providing this kind of development in Aftrica, where it’s implemented?

You know Pog got a 7G implant during Covid right? He will dominate for a few years yet! They only let his teamates have 6G.

And to think I paid £25 for the year to get Eurosport for the 2016? Olympics..

Tbh I’m content with the 1h highlights on Quest if that keeps-up for the Giro & Vuelta. I might spring for TNT for the Tour, although tbh I have limited opportunity to watch it live.

They’ll always be involved in Africa now sadly. The extent to which will be moderated by the particular country’s ambition to cosy up to USA or Europe.

There’s a lot of Chinese investment in Africa, primarily to secure natural resources.

They’ve built a lot of infrastructure (roads, ports etc) to get the resources out of the country too.

Pog doing Pog things at the Euros.

So, if he wins, what jersey will he wear? Rainbow? Euros? Presumably the leaders jersey in the Grand Tours…..

Assume UAE will make him wear their jersey as a token effort.

There is some crazy stat about how many days Pog has worn a UAE jersey at the TdF. Between yellow, polka dot, rainbow, it is something like 20%.

It is amusing that the reward for success is to wear a kit that isn’t what your sponsors pay you to wear.

Maybe UAE should seek sponsorship from Santini/PCP or other brands on the yellow jersey

He’ll wear the rainbow jersey unless he’s in a leader’s jersey.

At least UAE will be able to make him kit with all of their sponsors logos around the rainbow bands.

Until the last couple of years, Pog was in the white jersey if he wasn’t in the yellow jersey at the Tour.

Sagan famously went for years without wearing a standard team jersey. He was world champion for 3 straight years and he was Slovak national champion in most of the years when he wasn’t

I’ll say the quiet bit out loud.

We are all f*****g bored of Pog winning everything.

Yup, attacking 100km out and riding away from the bunch is fun the first time, but it gets boring when it happens every time.

The same with him attacking on the last climb every time and riding away from everyone.

I got the impression that he could have won the Tour by a much bigger margin this year, but he was holding himself back

Oh yeah it’s terrible to watch, saw he got a bit of abuse from the fans at the European road race, hardly surprising.

It’s UAE as a whole really, seem to win nearly every race at the moment

But at least it’s great to finally have a clean race

UAE Postal dominating even more than their US & UK forebears.

I suspect the pandemic provided plenty of opportunity for the ‘next thing’ to emerge unhindered.

TDF opening with a TTT next year around Barcelona and the final 2 days are brutal including 2 ADH finishes!

Two finishes at AdH, but only one time up the “usual” climb.

It looks like the 2nd day is going up a different route
