Ideally you need to be comparing with the 12 weeks leading up to your autumn marathons, But certainly looks strong and consistent this year.
That’s a monster run this weekend, good luck.

True - by each of them I’d hit nearly 1000km but that’s not the 12 week build. The data has to be there but not sure how to get it. I generally look at the slope of the graph and I seem to be on a similar or better trajectory.
What are you using to compare and get those graphs?
Intervals allows custom date ranges to compare against. Can customise to make graphs of whatever you wanted, eg cumulative volume/TSS, or rolling CTL etc
Eg
I have mine currently open in another tab ![]()
I was looking at it lunch time.
Playing around with this for the 16 week build to my last 4 marathons.
The red line was Wales LCW, so obviously a lot of cycling miles and less running. The others look remarkably similar - until you look at Load.
I must have been so much fitter in 2020. Same training was just easier. Also shows in the average running pace - I just ran quicker back then, for less effort!
I use Elevate for Strava.
Just signed up to Intervals.icu as I’ve not used it before, need to load in data from Garmin now.
That’s prettier, I might try it, but think ultimately intervals is probably more functional.
I think Intervals has a limit on how much historical data it will import unless you pay.
I think that might be common for a lot of us.
That is the Strava API I think, and therefore Interval.icu limit to 3 month unless you pay.
I switched to Garmin when Strava was playing silly $@%%$ a few years ago, it pulled about 3 years from Garmin from what I remember. I didn’t have a Interval sub.
I think Garmin has a limit for their API, but its years?
Intervals ask for a data file from Garmin to avoid using the API. Its easy and took 12 hours from request.
Good to know.
My Interval.icu goes back to 19th of October 2014, maybe that is when I signed up to Strava?
Looks like I ditched the Interval.icu Strava link in 2023
Everything is now Garmin or whatever cycling app I am using i.e Trainer Day, TP Virtual, RGT (rip), Biketerra etc.
and even 2021 and 2022. I just looked at some of that training an results in that period, crazy compared to now, no idea how I did it.
I fell off a bit of a cliff in September 2022 (bike mainly) and have never climbed back up. Wonder if it is a coincidence that is when I learnt how to not drown (or use the term loosely swim.)
Although I fell back in love with running the beginning of 2022 so it could be a combination and just took the summer before the bike dropped off.
Anyway, stats say I’m in about 3h 35min shape atm, but I think I’d need a couple of 32km runs to build the resilience to hit that otherwise there could be a big drop off in the last 10km.
I haven’t done any long runs for three weeks so my possible Marathon time is dropping a bit.
Those graphs are superb. I’ve just a while playing around with the data I have in intervals (going back to 2013). The mileage build and pacing stuff is all really interesting.
