Efficient, it saved you a job.
My no also came through.
Was a no for me too.
At this point I’d really like to see the breakdown of who actually gets in. That’s about the 15th (and 16th if you say there’s 2 next year) time that I’ve been rejected.
I know a lot of people apply but it still seems bizarre, unless I’ve managed to get myself on a blacklist somehow
So there’s not one marathon but two this year and none of you got in?
Poor show

We need to identity as a Dinosaur or Fridge. We would be straight in then.
No for me too
Strangely I got a text rejection. Apparently they were struggling to email me?!
I deferred from this year.
Not sure if I’ll get an email?!
No to London.
Why did I say i’d do Brighton as backup?!? ![]()
I found emails for Bournemouth and Edinburgh in my junk mail folder yesterday ![]()
I was just thinking (always dangerous on a Friday arvo!). If the two race thing is a one off for next year, presumably there will be twice as many deferrals as normal.
Won’t that make the chances of getting in for 2028 even slimmer?
Maybe it will be harder to get in, its hard enough. If it goes back to a single day and I get in then I’ll be happy, I would have been a bit miffed if I got in on the only two day event, if it turns out to be a one off.
I reckon they probably kept the same number of ballot places and sold the extra places from the 2nd day to the charities

I checked my inbox and spotted when I deferred that I should have received an email at the end of June. Fired one off so should see what day I’ve been allocated on Monday I guess…
