I wash the flasks that only have had water in them, mostly in water. I always use the same flasks for electrolyte solution (I don’t use liquid calories for ultras). The others get a rinse through with some Fairy/water etc. Tops get a soak.
Every now and then a soak with a Milton tab. I use wooden spoon handles to hold them open until dry.
The vests and belts just go in the machine with the other training clothes.
Yeah that’ll be my protocol.
There is however another adult in the house that may shove anything I can’t hide in the dishwasher when I’m not looking, so I’m wondering if that will kill the flasks - particularly the gel flask which is super floppy recyclable something.
The family have been doing their best to destroy my winter steel bidon since they found it, so I hide it in the pain cave when I can.
