Loving the live feed on the WSER YouTube channel
really? Itâs a bit of a jerky snoozefest IMO
Agree with you before they started the race , but now they seem to have got it a bit more together. And some great views when the feed is working.
Ah ok, i will tune in again after TdF
Back from my run, tuning in now
Beth Pascal currently second
Thatâs a fast pace they are doing.
5 in close proximity at the front of the mens race after 16 miles
Beth in 1st place in the womens race - she is flying .
I hope she can make it stick. Some of the old hands in the womenâs race seem to be holding back.
Still First Lady going into mile 62 and 10th overall !
Iâm.awake insanely early to head up to the lakes for a long run , but good to see Beth still in the lead . And 8th overall
Beth wins in 17:10 and 7th overall - amazing performance!!! Second fastest time ever which in those conditions is really impressive.
Jim Walmsley only finisher under 16 hours ( last year there were 10) in 14:46 - he is a machine!
Just awesome
Just watching the interview now. Amazing performance. Was she ever not leading?
Probably only at the very beginning. Watching all this really makes me want to get in even more. Must get that NDW100 Qualifier
Just watched the last hour - amazing that so many finishers complete the race during this hour. The second to last guy running at 45 degrees to vertical - was absolutely nail biting to see if he could finish. With 2 steps to go he started going backwards - was screaming him over the line. Totally agree @p00key - fingers crossed for the 5th time lucky in the lottery this December
Seems to have led from 15 miles out - stunning performance given the close chase behind her for most of the race
We saw that too and were also screaming for him to.get over that finish line . I couldnât believe he stepped back - now that drama.for you . We just need to keep chipping away - we will get there eventuallyâŚ
If I did get in I would be torn at having a pop at 24 and just completing - not sure that I am good enough for sub 24 on that course depending on how hot it was
