Ah bugger, he just txt me and said he’s dropped at Porthleven but not injured. What a damn shame, I feel gutted for him, he really was so well prepared.
He made it 78miles last year.

I guess so. i’ve told him to heal himself a bit before bothering to txt me. Also said how proud I was to call him a mate. He must be hurting on the inside very badly to have pulled our at 25miles.

My man had to pull late last night too. Took a heavy fall on his knee. Tried to hobble on for a few more hours but then had to call it a day.
He’s been training like a beast all winter and was in great condition so he’s also absolutely gutted.
Winner was only 10 or so mins of the CR though!

DNF rate already over 50%,
