Correct me if Iām wrong, but theyāre not allowed to pair up though are they. Even if theyāre in the proximity of someone else (which can still lift your spirits) they canāt ride and chat together?

Given 4. above, your man who left his wallet could hitch a ride back to get it, so long as he cycled on from there. A bit like Matt last year getting a ride to fix his bike but them going back to the break point before continuing on.

Iād literally just screen-shot that, myself. A 540km round trip to pick up your passport and wallet. I really canāt get my head around having to do that. Would you just be spending the next fortnight kicking yourself for making that mistake? Guess heāll never do that again.

Looking at the current leader #2 Robin Gemperle. Heās built such a massive gap already, heās only been stationary for nine hours, since Sunday evening. Unreal what these riders put themselves through.
