Mid-30s with 2 young kids was my athletic peak.
Perhaps you guys should be questioning your time management?

Tsk, itās wasted on the young.
Iām questioning my life choices.
How do you know thereās not better to come?
Same here. 37 is when all my PBs were set and my kids were young
Is that me drafting off someone on the bike?
It would have to be quite niche & preferably involve gin or cider.
I donāt know why Iāve declined .
+12 in the last 7 days
Ha ha ha
Good going that.
Nice week of taper and youāll be firing on all three cyclinders.
Like a Ford EcoBoost
You entered the wrong one then:

Could always pop across the bridge:
Titan Brecon Middle Distance Triathlon is back for 2020 after a sell out year in 2019. Set in the stunning Brecon Beacons and taking in the Iron Mountain
Estimated reading time: 5 minutes
All the graph really shows is Iāve done some more hours on the bike!
Feeling ok at the mo, and according to Garmin random number generator I should probably be doing the race right now before any semblance of fitness disappears:
Not sure I believe any of the actual numbers, still itās nice to see the line pointing up not down.
Nah, this is the graph you want!
Power Curve over last four weeks
Iām āa bit worseā than my best
My TrainingPeaks PMC is atrocious
1240W peak power though
What are you, a tumble dryer?

Ha ha ha
You have to remember that Iām 85-90kg.
That was going up Mow Cop and we all had a great day and I was playing at silly beggars again
That was the start of my LONG RANGE attackā¦950W 5s power, 426W 5min power, 392W 10min power, 336W 20min power (which was 383W NP, apparently, must have done a few attacks in amongst that)
ā¦I then really struggled for the remainder of the ride
Second photo on here, I think?

Impressive stuff
Sadly I have a hunch the real reason my vo2max numbers appear to have risen is that I got a new watch which is more accurate at recording heart rate. Rather than a controlled 6 month fitness ramp (I wish)
Yeah 36, 37 for me I think too. Just running like ⦠never had any PRS for triathlon other than āgot roundā although I had a quite respectable time for that Leeds Ripon tri back in 2010. Got a real buzz from that and a few weeks later Iād taken my brothers spot in the Alpe Dāhuez race. Then Helvellyn in the autumn. Then sadly I had to give my brother back all his gear⦠donāt know if Iāll make Cotswoldās - I could get round I suppose. Running is improving to a degree. But itās slow going. Good to have a goal but donāt want to injure myself again. Physio said yeah Iāll be ok as long as I donāt smash it. I said donāt worry thereās never any chance of me smashing it, itās just a fun day out in Lycra
