Watcha watchin'?

I’ve been waiting for The Contractor on Netflix to drop. Started watching it and realised I’ve seen it.

It was billed as an Amazon original when it was first released.
Watched Under Paris last night. Cannot wait for the sequel

Ah that must be where I’ve seen it.

‘In the Land of Saints and Sinners’.

Mind numbingly dull, ponderous and ridiculous acting.

I knew I was on to something when I said Suits had tones of The West Wing. They are both produced, with writing and directing credits, by Christopher Misiano who took over from Sorkin when he flounced from The West Wing.

Watched first 2 episodes of Ripley on Netflix last night. Beautifully filmed in B&W but somewhat slow but it drags you in all the same.

We watched the shark thing. Hadn’t realised it was a fully French film.

I mean it was complete nonsense with plot holes bigger than the shark’s maw. But the story kept moving and we didn’t consider turning it off at all which is a sort of positive.

Like this phrase. As in:

It didn’t skimp on the croissants, striking farmers, socialist hegemony or disdainful attitude toward other cultures, it was fully French.

Started watching Godzilla -1, the voice over is putting me off a bit but I’ll persist, like a bit of Godzilla.

Also started on Cannonball Run, still quite funny with some very good tongue in cheek gags at the expense of other roles they’ve played!

Found not guilty by a jury at Southwark Crown Court so you can’t really criticise the US criminal justice service.

next season of Reacher could be interesting due to the actor cast to be Reacher’s nemesis - you think Ritchson is big…….

Lets hope his acting is better than Richardsons. Its a low bar.

And Richardson’s Reacher is still 10 times better than Tom Cruise

Interesting story today. I was out on the moto and called into Holden’s Farm Cafe on the SDW and by pure coincidence, one of my Monday night running mates was there.

We were talking about the SDW in general and the SDW100 and he mentioned he was at Devil’s Dyke last weekend and saw the front runners.

I assumed he was on the mtb or something but he said he was ‘filming’ Turns out he does the odd gig as an extra and they were filming some re-do scenes for Gladiator 2.

Before the filming he had to attend a 2 day bootcamp to learn how to march properly (or at least good enough for the film), he got paid for that as well.

We watched series 2 (or is it season?) of the Netflix Tour de France doc this week. We really enjoyed it. There must be so much work that goes into filming, deciding on the story lines and putting it all together.

Yes saw the film crews all parked up for the night about 63 miles in - before Saddlescombe Farm
