Similar . It’s actually a sugar cone which you need to soak in rum, or spirit of your choice. You then heat up some Gluhwein pop the cone on top and set fire to it. Looks spectacular but thb it just makes the drink very sweet. However a German tradition for NYE and great on a cold night. However last night was the warmest NYE on record 16C!
