I suppose one silver lining of my current situation, not really wanting to eat much I ve lost 3.5kg.

Appetite has returned now though, but not like before. Downside is without the dog to walk um not getting out and about as much.

Somehow I’m 77.6kg this morning, 2kg lighter than 4 days ago.

It is I believe the second lowest reading on my app (tracking since Jan ‘21, but rather erratically), that reading was 76.6kg in Jan ‘22 but checking the thread on here that was the morning after giving blood.

I guess it mainly water retention. Can’t think of anything I’ve done that would result in such a change though, other than being on 16/8.

79.1kg this morning [from 79.6kg last Monday and then 77.6kg :astonished: on Friday].

Been sticking to 16/8 pretty well, but not to the absolute minute, amended it to 15/9 a couple of days. Had a Chinese buffet on Friday and a takeaway last night, but in both cases I didn’t go quite as piggish as I might have in the past.

I think my issue with this diet is that it seems relatively easy to follow, has relatively quick results and you can allow yourself treats. Hence, in the past I’ve found I’ve been happy to slack off after a couple of weeks because I think it’s so easy to jump back on when required.

Surprise drop 1.8kg to 85kg, don’t think my new pills are supposed to help that.

Was on holiday from work last week and the usual thing happened, instead of having more time to go to the gym I don’t have a routine, get involved in other stuff and end up not going. I also had a bit of sore throat/cold which was all the excuse I needed.
Result 106.3 kg & 34.1% (105.9 & 34.0% previous week)

Around 78.5kg at the moment.

Had a couple of days off 16/8 when I went out to Warsaw with work, then had 3 massive meals a day, starting with multiple plates at the cooked breakfast buffet, then also had cooked buffet for lunch and meal out in the evening.

In hindsight really should have stuck to 16/8 and skipped breakfast, my concern was having my a lack of control over when I could start eating for lunch. At home I have the flexibility to start earlier, say 10:30 if I know I’ll have had my evening meal by 18:30. I tend to prefer waiting until 12pm if I can though.

5 gym sessions and one commute to work on the bike so not a lot of cardio but the weights are going OK. I still think scales are misreading bodyfat since started Creatine as doesn’t feel like I’ve put fat on to the extent they’re saying.

I’m pretty much at the point of not caring this year and seeing where I am 1st Jan with a view to having a really strict month (no alcohol, which I do every year) and take it from there. Creatine is due to run out in the next couple of weeks and you’re supposed to have a break before starting it again (if I do start it again) so everything points to a fresh start in 2024.

Finally down to 99.65kg this morning. Got down to 98.5kg earlier in the year before getting Covid, then ballooned back up to 103kg for most of the year. Hopefullly I can drop a little more before xmas and not go too mad then!

115.1kg today.

Seperation has been good for something. Lost 5kg since it all kicked off. I have been walking loads more though and sure thats making a difference. Current 7 day average is 13,219 steps a day, which is approx 12km a day distance wise on my massive steps

Wasn’t sure where to post it but I’m thinking of trying for a low sugar January.

Its not to lose weight. But I eat too much sugar, and feel it’s probably the main remaining unhealthy lifestyle factor, now that I have sold the wing-suit and quit the smoking, hard drugs and cage-fighting

Sorry dentists. Maybe another year until Kona.

Still at the research phase. Will probably need to up starchy carbs and veg which are already pretty high.

From experience, not buying stuff in the first place seems like a good place to start. If it’s not in the cupboard, it’s less likely to enter the cake hole.

anyway, if anyone wants to offer moral support or join in any way, we could offer each other virtual cupboard locks.

Drugs are underrated.
Cage fighting is barbaric, boxing is the way.

Good luck anyway
