2024/2025/2026 weigh in thread

72.3!

This is so so slow !

Must eat more I guess ?!

104.7kg & 33.7% BF

Looks like a huge gain but putting last week down as a blip, in which case it’s a steady increase over last few weeks. Starting to see PBs at the gym again, so think things are going the right way.

Eating more ( good stuff)

Less cardio .. more weights and creatine

81.5 down from 82. Aiming to lean off a little and get nearer 80. Jesus, extra weight doesn’t half make a difference to running. There are some running calculators out there which estimate the difference it makes….its horrifying.

I was 73 a couple of years ago. Its mostly muscle gain thankfully!

Seeing the odd PB at the gym again so some of it must be muscle……….I hope!

My arms are HUGE.. so is my gut.

Only a few kgs to go and I can get fit again.

79.6kg. I was ill last week, so only did 20 minutes’ exercise but started my Christmas eating early :frowning:. Back on it.

78 on the nose. Exactly where I want to be right now.

2026 will be about getting stronger rather than lighter.

I have been weighing myself occasionally but not standing on it long enough to record all stats and sync (also there was an issue with the App becoming unavailable and using an alternate).

Need to stop making excuses and sort it out.

Edit to add: I was probably ~78Kg until October 2024, when I twisted my ankle and started a new job with a commute.

Bit of a Xmas blip, probably won’t settle down this side of New Year so see where I am early 2026.

Haven’t weighed myself since 29th, but the re(started) today.

Going with 16/8 to start with, so will aim to eat between ~12pm-8pm. Was hard just having the black coffee this morning (at around 6:30am), I even got as far as frothing the milk before remembering I wasn’t allowed it.

Got Chat GPT to meal plan for us this week, asking for simple, healthy and reasonably cheap family meals.

Stepped on the scales this morning, 71.2kg

That’s a couple of kilos more than normal & basically reflects the fact I have been shovelling in every Christmas calorie is sight while hardly exercising.

Calf is feeling better, gave it a bit of a test on Tuesday, time to get back gently to it I think if @APM gives permission?

Have you been doing the rehab though Fruity?!

erm

next question? :see_no_evil_monkey:

edit - just for you, tried the 200 hops thing. Very hard and unpleasant, but managed it without anything going pop. Although to be honest in the last 20 I had a feeling of doom like something could go Bikini Atoll at any minute. But it didn’t.

Tried it on the good leg too, equally grim.

Similar to me, currently at 84kg but the last time I was 78kg was 2 years ago. My initial target needs to be 82kg and then on from there.

I can feel that the training is working and I’m getting fitter, however still carrying excess weight.

Blimey Fruity, you’re tiny!

That’s the problem with the calf, it lull you into a false sense of security. That said, I saw on Strava you did a solid 10k the other day at a fair pace…. So it’s a redundant question.

71.15 kg this morning.

A whole 50g of progress over the last week.

Was hoping to be 68-69 for half marathon at end of Feb, if leg allows.

Looking unlikely at current rate of progress, all that Christmas stuff :pig:
