2024/2025/2026 weigh in thread

I finally got to the gym yesterday to weigh myself after the rubbish end to 2025. Admittedly I only remembered to do it at the end of the session (which wan’t overly difficult, but I did sweat a fair bit on the stair machine at the end).

Was surprised to see 74kgs. Thought I’d have been a fair bit heavier. However I am strongly assuming, from visual checks and my general weakness, that I’ve lost a fair bit of muscle over to fat in that time.

74.3 kgs

Down from 77 at the winter weightlifting high last year.

Peds were hinted at three times, not sure whether to be insulted or complimented ?! I’d post a pic but .. unlike 99% of the rest of the world I don’t do it for that.

Is this the 26 thread too?

Horrendous weigh in seeing 85kgs

Got some serious work to do, I’m hoping that just increasing movement levels will see a shift in timber

I’ve been static at 84 to 85 for ages. Doing more training but its not changing weight. Need to tweak diet.

Chipping away since Christmas, just focussing on having a hearty porridge breakfast, sensible lunch and not having a second portion for dinner, along with reducing my sugar intake. Down to 77.1kg so hopefully should be 75:x in the next week or two.

104.3kg & 33.7% BF

Settled down to about the same the last couple of weeks so think this is pretty much my starting point for 2026 now.

Plan is still a bit of a bulk for Q1, see where I can get my strength/size up to then maintenance/cut over spring/summer. Trying a different routine at the gym so will see how that goes.

I seem to have flattened at 75kgs at the moment. Deffo lost muscle last year, so I’m hoping there’ll be a slow conversion over the next couple of months with a bit of overall weight loss too.

Doing a combo of 16/8 in the weekdays unless I’m early training when I’ll have a banana and a yoghurt drink before and a protein shake after. Then will have some granola or something later in the morning. Have got very strict with not eating after dinner though - that deffo helps. Needs to make better snacking choices in the day though. Especially when on the 16/8 days as I essentially am missing one meal, so need to make sure i hit the nuts in the mid-afternoon hungry phase rather than the biscuits!

Not worried about the weekends - need some joy in my life still. Especially as I’m dry at the moment!

I’ve just dipped under 80. I need to arrest the decline much further. It’ll be back to adding in some extra carbs as 80/81kg. Seems to be a good fighting weight for what I’m currently doing

Don’t quite know how but I’m back down to 70.1kg now, just one bathroom visit away from Zwift weight.

69.2kg so back to normal after Christmas, that only took until March

Unfortunately this means I cycled up the Alpe last night carrying 800 unnecessary virtual grammes. Have now sorted that right out.

The food in Panama was pretty woeful if you’re not a big meat-eater. We went to food court at a mall & literally every one of about 30 outlets were just serving big plates of chicken or beef.

81.9 this morning. Just been listening to hunger cues but a regular week is 40-50km running, 1hr bike and 4 strength sessions. I’m back to gettting quad chafe when running
