It still sticks in my mind

Fair play to No. 12, has just run back to where he left the course (was further up that path then must have realised he had gone wrong. Why is dot watching so addictive, instead of working ?
That would triple his swim total for the year
Are there actually any triathletes here
Lynmouth is the place with the water powered funicular train isn’t it?
ETA - Christ, first time I’ve looked at this route, what bastard came up with this? What you guys do for fun eh! Looks horrible
Windmill hill?
Fun down there with rim brakes, second time I did it I was much more cautious
Good look all, will give you a thought with my mittens around a
I’m not sure really, I’ve only done this part once in 2019. I remember coming out of Lynmouth, going up a very steep and quite busy road for a short stint, then bearing off left to the trail and the hill looked big but not crazy high. I think it was the zig zag traverse to climb it that seemed to go on forever.
I think at this point, my mind was on Bossington, so it’s easy to dismiss all the bastard bits in-between. Like the bloody pebbles coming out of Porlock.
Nice product placement
Bloody hell, just looked at that and forgot how bad Hangman’s is coming out of CM as well.
Yes 3 big big climbs
Hangman (high point of the course at 311m)
Out of Lynmouth
After Porlock marshes
Can someone tell me the meaning of the numbered vans on the tracker please?
bongo in 5th nearly 5 hours in
I was wondering that?
Could they be aid stations and they leapfrog the runners once everyone has gone through?
GB and another (his mate ?), joint 4th, 25 mins away from CP2. Hopefully @FatPom or @tunster can get a photo of him
Why is dot watching so compelling? Keep looking in to see how he’s doing…amazing is the answer.
Also, @JD-Scarabtri , I think Tunster and FP are in Minehead at the moment. If my memory serves me correctly, they wanted to meet at the Hairy Dog around this time. Hopefully, we’ll get a picture later though
Ah, so they must get shuttled to their start (CP2 where GB is now sat down eating cake)
Looks like they’re on their way again already. No time for cake
chasing the podium place just in front of them, like you do with only 110km to go
I think @gingerbongo may have been sandbagging in the build up - running an amazing race so far
