Is that 45 each with me?
Good effort
IIRC - Armstrong was 500 odd up d’huez
He missed the ‘2’ infront of the 90watts.
If I wish that I could push David’s Watts
Jam single from the 70s
I’d have to remember how to pedal first, the calibrate my trainer, then remember my Zwift log in, then see if I could even ride for an hour! ![]()
suggest maybe skip the ‘calibrate’ part. Unless it seems to be under-reading of course…
There was an element os ‘who’s going to know?’ for sure! ![]()
Oh and dont worry about weighing yourself, an estimate will do, I always go for 60kg as I was that in 1982, no need to change it
seems fair ![]()
I was due some benchmarking so decided to have a go at an hour this morning instead of the normal 20 minute test. 1 hour, on a turbo, aero position, no sitting up or standing and starting on some pretty heavy legs gives me.. 255w average.
That’s all your getting folks
![]()
that’s decent ![]()
I’m thinking of having a go after work tonight but won’t be troubling you on the leaderboard
@Chriswim 330W
, just how ,right now I’d be happy holding that for 60 seconds
Thanks, it felt very much indecent!
330w is incomprehensible as is @Adam’s 290 off the the back of limited training. Amazing ![]()
It certainly is, that’s my best ever 7 minute power. (Probably 50sec at that atm)
Speaking for myself.
You know you’ve lost fitness when you won’t be able to hold the power that your trainer can resist without being plugged in.

Safely through to round two. ![]()
Need to find another 5 - 10 watts for next month. ![]()
That is showing as Z3 and a nice low HR.
215w should be okay, yes/no?
Possibly……but it was boring AF ![]()
Lol It does become a grind. Bet you loved it really.
I did say intervals is fine, makes it a bit more interesting.
177W for me this morning, doubt I’ve held over that for an hour at any point this year.
Would hope residual fitness would get me towards 280-300 if I truly went for it at the moment.
And with a HR of 125, got a few months of build in reserve there
