I decided an hour on the TT bike would be less arduous than listening to or watching the match so got the TT bike out hoping the roads would be fairly quiet, there was a bit of traffic but for a Saturday afternoon probably quite good.
Used our club 10 roads but straight into it with no warmup except a steady start. Paced it on feel which felt harder than it should have done but somewhere between 70.3 & 50m TT.
Reasonably pleased with speed for the power, roads are pretty poor slow tarmac, I did have my old skinsuit but standard helmet etc.

Think Iâll probably have to push the boat out and go for 250W in July, the quads are already trembling in fear at the prospect though.
One problem, could potentially run out of Alpe at 250W though, was past the final hairpin after an hour today ![]()
