I’m thinking about this one for next year. Relatively cheap to enter although will have to travel up from the big smoke. Anyone done it before? Looks like a fairly straightforward bike with a lumpy run.
It was the first tri I ever did in the UK but I think it was a far different course back then.
Think I read they are changing the bike course again this year as it’s been quite short the last few years, but a decent no-thrills event, swim is in the warmer part of Ullswater (still cold though).
Plenty of camping options nearby as well if that’s your thing.
The run did used to be about 5 miles rolling, ~4 mile fell, then last 4 miles mostly road back to the start. But it might have changed as well though.
