I found I wasn’t getting enough from my Elite Buta BTA bottle, plus it was pissing everywhere.
So took it off and mounted a standard cage to it instead, should make bottle hand ups easier too;

New bar pads finally on the race bike.
Decided to add a layer of carbon fibre over the nylon just to add a bit more strength
Aerocoach horizontal spacers but there’s not much contact points due to the shit base bar.
Will fashion something a bit sturdier in the coming weeks.
Issue now is that I can’t fit a BTA bottle anymore and even something like the Xlab Hydroglode won’t fit without cutting some of the pads
On the plus side, they are super comfy and give a reassuring amount of area for your arms
