Looking at getting a new bike bag/box after discovering my Thule Round Trip’s base has split after 10 years of use.
So thinking of the Scicon Aerocomfort as I need something that can pack away into the loft. Any thoughts or suggestions?
i have a scicon bag & have had no issues with it & folds down into its own bag and will just fit through my hatch into loft !!.
side note( touch wood) never had any damage to bike or parts while in transit ,but i do use extra padding on frame & around rear mech
Probably no good for you but I’ve got the aero bike box Alan, it’s very good for modern bikes but pretty bulky for storage and extra weight means you might hit airline limits.
Borrowed an original a couple of times, it was smaller but a bit more faff with the propel and I put a few bits in my normal case, partly for protection.
Neither will fit in your loft of course.

I have both Scion box and bag. One bike damaged in bag. And the bag now taped up in places. Box is very good but a squeeze to get my Basso in.

I rented a Bike Box Alan direct (the tri bike version) from the company for Roth. This overcomes the need for storage (they are pretty huge!), but only makes sense economically if you only need a box once or twice a year, so not sure if this would be an option for you.
