Recommendation for kit brands.
The pad in my favourite bibs has split in half. Need new kit and its my birthday coming up.
For ages I’ve worn DHB (RIP) and HUUB. As it will be a present, looking for something nice.

You’ll probably get a lot of answers but my favourite has got to be Assos if you get enough, closely followed by Rapha Brevet range which are more for endurance rides.
I’ve personally struggled with Castelli and others in the past.
Castelli Rosso Corsa, Aerorace.
Le Col have big sale on, I’ve just got some bibs and a top from them, feels good, looks pretty good.
I’ve great bibs from le Col and Assos. If you want bibs that perform far better than their price tag then Endura FS260-Pro are a good bet.
Assos all the way for bibshorts. S Works for all the other contact points (helmet, gloves, shoes).
I’ve got Northwave bibs from bikeinn.
Good enough for 5+ hours on a turbo. So much so I’ve got 3 pairs of the same bibs.
Recently got a kalas jersey, quite nice too.
I need a pair about a tenth that good.
edit: for my 50th birthday they were fussing about clubbing together and getting me a present I actually wanted, not just socks or a corkscrew with “Dad” on it.
so I said I fancied a full official Team Jumbo Visma replica kit. Bib shorts, jersey, socks.
That was nearly 3 years ago, have worn it for every serious ride since. The socks died, but the bibs and shirt are as good as new and very comfortable. Made in Poland by AGU, the label says.
