I already have a proper Park Tools stand at home in the UK but I’m looking for something that I can prop the rear wheel in so I can fiddle with the gears, with the rear wheel off the ground.
Any recommendations ? Simpler the better in acse it needs to travel.
I got one like this before I got a proper stand. It does the job but can be a bit fiddly to get in just the right place so that it holds the bike but doesn’t get in the way of the pedals or wheel. Comes apart and is only about 18" long so easy to travel. There are also some that look like a skinny turbo trainer but haven’t tried those. Either is about £10 on eBay.
