Brands I don't trust

I think they’re possibly saturated with the amount of data and constant background data using the bandwidth, along with some very dead spots.

Got lots of aging-well Huub and Nike kit, and would buy again.

2XU wetsuit was durable for years but their other stuff seemed shoddy. Zips snapping, wearing out, washing impacted.

Low end adidas never held up for me either.

Higher State is not premium I know but I can’t say they’ve been worth the delivery costs either.

When you say it’s not working, what’s actually happening? Without being condescending, you do have roaming switching on within your phone settings right?!

If only there was a 5g expert on this site to help us out

I don’t buy Nike, initially it was there unwavering support of Armstrong when it was clear he was doping. That perception that they love dopers was reinforced with the whole Project Oregon nonsense.

Nope…the others are commercial and, as such, can porn themselves if they like…the Beeb have a moral and ethical responsibility to be above board and they choose not to be…

Shokz headphones.

I’ve had a few pairs of the open headphones and they’ve all packed in at or close to the 2 year warranty.

More recently, I’ve inherited a pair of the Dots in ear pods that Mrs W couldn’t get on with. The connection in the charging pod is really hit and miss.

Same.

I’ve had 4 pairs and they have all failed 1-3 months out of warranty, maybe I should have got the memo after 2 or 3 pairs.

I found JLab earbuds to be crap too.

RST and Suntour for anything bicycle related. Have been consistently crap for more years than I can remember, and never fail to disappoint, and yet somehow they remain in business. Everything they touch is heavy, made of cheese-metal and terrible design. In my head RST is an acronym for ‘Really Sh*t Technology’. I believe they are not related to to the RST who make motorcycle gear, although coincidentally most of their stuff is little better.
Similarly anything Halfords own-brand (Apollo, Carrera, Ripspeed etc.) is all low-priced garbage which will inevitably be disappointing, and also leads to questions regarding anything they sell - if their own brand bicycles and accessories are garbage, why would I trust their own-brand tools, oils, fluids etc. and service offerings to be any better?

RIP speed might be the most appropriate branding?
