Cheshire riding suggestions

Park in the Past is getting a lot of landscaping done, but has limited swim slots.

Did the horseshoe loop today. Enjoyed it, so thanks!

Did pass on the canal path. That looked way too narrow and gravelly for 23mm road tyres. Followed the road around and over the river, looking up at the aquaduct which was nice. Coming down the A5 was OK seeing as it was downhill, so decent speed.

The part through the farm and traveller campsite, with all the gates to open and close was certainly something different to my normal routes from out of London!

Died a death in the last hour. Was having to ration fluid and just ground to a halt. The Garmin prompted me to report fluid and defaulted to 4x750ml bottles…I only had 2

Woah!
After the descent your HR really does just go up!

Good ride :+1:t3:

Good ride indeed, the start is pretty close to me!

I’ve also added you on Strava, just in case you didn’t recognise the name!

Top work! That’s a great ride.
Last Sunday I rode over to Bala lake, had a swim and rode back down the A5

I went through 8 litres in total for the 179km

Well you certainly got in a good varied route there … definitely need to take a closer look at your hydration strategy though
