I know there was some previous discussions on mid foot cleats etc.
Just got some winterish shoes for my commute - same brand as normal pair - but the cleats feel too far forward even at the furthest back available.
I dont need an expensive solution - this is just for commuting - but is there any cheap ish extenders that would move the cleat back a small amount (I suspect just a few mm will make the difference). Or is there any other options.
My mid foot cleats for Speedplay (summer bike) work very well, as detailed in the thread.
My commuting cleats (winter bike) didn’t really work. I had problems unclipping which I never got to the bottom of and the walkability of the shoes went out the window.
In the end I realised that I could use my SPDs with the two screws in the rear holes and that was enough - tbh I don’t ride the commuting bike long distances so it’s not a big problem.
I’m guessing that Look cleats need 4 screws to attach to the base of your shoe? If so, moving to SPDs might help without being hugely costly?
