I’ve got some of the PX lobster gloves for commuting. They’re too hot in anything but the coldest weather but when it is that cold I love them.
Interestingly the first couple of times I wear them each year my hands ache (only a little, not enough to bother about), I think it’s due to trying to move my fingers individually until you get used to them being joined.

If i had the £ right now, these seem like a good investment as well (just in case anyone is looking).

Looks like they are part of the same group as Hunt wheels as well.

Hang on there old chap…lemme see my glove collection

But most of the pics are taken in different places? I thought they’d be hanging up on some creepy mannekin hands poking out from the built-in wardrobe like a macabre hunting lodge from 1900’s Rhodesia.

I’ve got a pair of the Castelli neoprene gloves for colder days… and when it gets really cold, I stick a windproof outer over them. Only ever once got cold hands with that set up… but then I did end up sheltering in a phone box while it snowed… :joy: took me ages to get my phone out and dial to call for a collection as my hands were numb!

Having done some research I think neoprene will be good for me. I run pretty hot anyway, so they should do the job and a 20 odd quid investment is easy enough to swallow.

Those are for proper cold & wet weather.

Toe covers and https://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-flashlight-windproof-cycling-gloves-1 for just a but cold and wet weather

These were on my radar from a couple of sources.

19.50 for the garish yellow ones on merlin or 38 quid for the nice looking black ones.

… Garish yellow it is!

definitely yellow, helps to be seen when signalling

Looks shit though. :joy:

I dress to stay alive, not look good. All my cycling tops & socks are really bright, just have black bibs.

When you’ve been knocked off twice you only care about being seen

Is it just me that imagines PCP is a gunslinger, a la Clint Eastwood when reading that?

Anyone want to recommend me “touring/winter bike” upgrades? Particularly wheels and tyres as I dont recognise the ones it came with.
