-1 avg 0. I thought it felt cold. My glasses were icing up in the fog!
Ice on the cars the last 2 mornings as I’ve returned from the night shift.
Left work at 8 tonight. Dark and cold, 2c according to Garmin. Better than this morning. At least without fog my glasses weren’t icing up
Yeah wasn’t as bad was it
Mind you an 8pm finish on a Friday is never good!
I shouldn’t even be in the office! 2 days on trot and back Monday! To be fair it makes a nice change. Unfortunately the pool is closed.
Yep, no fringe benefits!
Another cold one today
My contract finished at the end of October so I get to ride at the balmier time of 8:30 (with school drop off). Nice to be riding in daylight this winter
Yeah this morning after my night shift was the coldest yet. Bike lock had frozen. Then I tested my brakes and the rear wouldn’t release So a slow ride home. Proper Baltic but no wind which was nice…
It was really light for my commute home last night at 16:45. Most definitely still requiring lights but the day was noticeably longer .
Cycling back home this evening, coming to a junction so stuck arm out. Then put it back down as there was a speed bump and about to turn in. As I turned the driver called me a c😍nt! Family was crossing the road as well!
Maybe he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror.
When They are miserable and angry, We are winning.
Highway code clearly says cyclist should only indicate when its safe to do so…
Drove in this morning
First time I’ve driven anywhere for a while, quite enjoyed the experience but my commute normally sets me up for my day & I’m going to feel a bit dopey for the first couple of hours.
It was fucking grim here.
So much rain with rivers running through some roads!
Quite a lot of snow here but I decided to cycle in on my cyclo-cross. No problem getting in.
Just deciding whether to cycle or run back. Mostly flat so think it will be fine
I had the novelty of commuting to the office this morning. Having worked in the office all the way through the first 2 lockdowns, my new boss has decided that I should only go in every 2 weeks.
I really miss the daily commute because it nicely tops-and-tails the working day and gives that separation of home and work. It was a bit quieter on the roads than before Christmas, but it’s still significantly busier than it was in March/April last year.
Yes I’ve found the Kings road etc much quieter this time round. Not too many brave souls braving the weather yesterday though
