Do I need a new bike?

My unapproved Cervelo R5SL was full Ultegra and 6.8kg for £1200.

I had massive fun building that, although I’m certain I could feel the rear stays flex when riding :joy:

Probably best it was sold :rocket::money_with_wings:

A club mate recently built up a R5ca and had it internally routed with SRAM eTap AXS, resprayed in club colours (classic black, with white and red trim) and adorned it with Zipp303 and tan wall tyres. Looks amazing :heart_eyes:

Balfes are selling at the same price so I can get them on scheme.

£1600 (calliper) TCR Advanced 2 or the £3000 TCR Advanced 0 Disc (Di2 Ultegra)

After todays ride realise I may look a little silly hanging off the back on an expensive bike though  not that that’s ever stopped me before :sunglasses:

Rider and bike = 99kg today

I can maybe lose 2kg of “love handles” but I can buy 5kg off the bike easy

Merlin have a Cinelli Superstar 105 for £2000 and a Cinelli Tutto for £1145 leaving enough to buy new bike clothes.

When you think of getting a £3000+ roadie, there is no going back from there…
