Do you think Roglic sub consciously held back from overtaking him after the stick he got when he nipped past the solo breakaway rider at one of the other GTs (can’t remember which one, or which rider, but wasn’t too long ago). Because he was absolutely steaming up behind MC who looked like he was pedalling squares with about 250m to go!

I remember him being vilified for that win & initially thought he gave the win away as he did seem to slow down. On reflection I think he only slowed down because there wasn’t room to pass MC, he had just left his charge too late & the final corner was too tight.

He won a decent race coming into this one, and was looking really good. Yeah. Apart from today. And I realise I also made a mistake (not paying attention) and put Haig and Landa in. Clearly never going to both earn points being on the same team. Doh.
