I took Viviani for the sprints thinking he was saving himself for his home GT, clearly not.
Once the big boys come out to play I should get some points on board.
It will be interesting to see how Ganna goes in the TTs as the Giro goes on; will he get tired, or is he there to keep his powder-dry for those days? I guess we’ll see.
It’s not like Ineos to take a specialist for stage wins. I assume he is going to have to work for G on the flat stages.

Etna today then. Bit early for fireworks i’m guessing. Wonder if Yates has a plan to sneak a few seconds here, or will that be too obvious and easy for Ineos to counter?

Well that’s my fantasy team down the pan with G and Yates in my team! I’ll enjoy my 3rd day in pink and call it a successful Giro!

Same. Took G, Yates and Fuglsang as my main men, Viviani as my sprinter and the rest were ‘cheap’ fillers.
Originally had Ullissi, Nibali and Kruijswijk in the team. Good thinking switching them out🙄
