Help me replace my MTB shoes…

After over a decade of loyal service, the heel of my MTB shoes broke yesterday.
(Despite doing nothing more strenuous than stepping off the turbo. :roll_eyes:)

The only thing I remember about them was the fact they had a carbon sole.

I never got on with road shoes, so use MTB pedals on my road bike.

I also like the fact it is easier to walk in these, than some traditional road shoes.

This seems to be the current Specialized equivalent:

I generally take a size 9, with a wider fitting if available.

Any other shoe suggestions, or discount shops to buy these ones?

Thanks, Paul. :slight_smile:

I have an older version of the Northwave Rebel (single Boa) and have been very happy with them. Quite often see deals on Northwave on Chain Reaction.

@FatPom - Thanks. :sunglasses:

Something like this?

Struggled for years to find wider fitting bike shoes, both Road and Mountain.

Sidi Mega fit shoes have been a revelation, if anything they are slightly too wide, but my insoles deal with that.

Ignore the price, they can be had cheaper.

Just checked, I have these. Got them for about £100 IIRC
