Help me with a new bike

I’m still procrastinating over this  I do like the Dura-ace C60’s and they’re a decent wheel at a reasonable price, and hooked rims. But the 12 speed only is the issue, option is for the Ultegra’s.

Also looking at DT Swiss 1400, quite a bit more expensive but are 11 speed compatible and would work with 12 speed if\when my bikes get updated.

Need to do something soon as I’d like them on the bike when I start doing a bit more racing.

There’s that many smaller brands as well and I actually suspect there’s not much in any of them. But I want hooked rims and need to be at least clincher compatible cos I’m stuck in my ways :joy:

Surely the main consideration is what size tyres they / and your your bike frame can take ?

With people going wider and wider which is fast and comfortable how will the whole wheel / tyre “ system “ measure up ?

Bikes that take 23 mm tires are virtually worthless now .. ( look at e bay !) we have all seen our roads

Unless your going to use it exclusively for oulton park or silverstone .. they are really uncomfortable

I like Parcours and they are a good price with a decent warranty.

They both take at least 25 and I’m fairly sure the DT’s take 28, will be surprised if the Shimano ones don’t as well. Frames shouldn’t have an issue either, most of my current bikes have 25 or higher.
