I’d forgotten that Mousa had died - a few years ago now I think. He created an event that everyone who’s done Toughguy looks back on with rose tinted glasses - on the day it was a fucking nightmare with the hills, mud, tunnels, barbed wire, fire etc.

I could be mistaken but I think I read/head that Ironman (eventually) recognised the issue and have stepped up with free entries or something like that to next years race.
Luckily “RipTide” wasn’t there

Has he disappeared from the scene? I know he was punting himself as some kind of guru back after his notorious adventures, and he became an overnight ‘sensation’.
They need to do an Ironman Chepstow; one way swim should take about 15 min if they time it right. Just need a net to catch anyone who overshoots

I have no idea as I rarely bother with IMJ as its a hassle getting Dan Reef out. Also they are all just groups of coach spam these days. When the woman , Janice or something, took over and started banning everyone who disagreed with someone, it lost all the decent people. Even IMJ sub 10 fell apart because of that coach/ex pro clown and that dumb yank who thinks he’s better than everyone, Jeremy or something
