I think that’s pretty cool and good for him.

Anyone doing this?

In Lanza at the time (not racing) but will schlep along to PdC to watch the suffering.

Someone from my club is still trucking on. He’s in death march status looking at the tracker after an 8:45 bike!

LCB took a comfortable win, possibly just confirming her Kona entry?

Yes. She’s got a decent pre race vid up on YouTube too.

I don’t know what the women’s course record is, but that sounded like a quick time.

I think the first year I raced Lanza (2008) Bella Bayliss won in 10 hours.

LCB would have lapped her on the run at that pace

How do we get Lanza televised? It’s such an epic race.

I’m sure there’s a rogue media approach that would work with a couple of drones and a car. iPhone coverage in PDC.

Have bbqs running at the epic view points and cut to them when the race comes close.

i think if they did a year with coverage they would get more entries

guessing the recurring rumour about it being last one are false ( i hope)

If they returned to the old course, including the El Golfo section, I’d be tempted to go back.
