GB Mens quad sculls just out of the medals in 4th. Miles ahead of 5th/6th
Wilde paced that badly and Yee paced it brilliantly, well done lad!
Wilde had nothing to respond with.
I know there’s no rush for her but I do think Potter would do real well at long course. Solid enough swim, strong bike and great run.
Counterintuitively, the slightly bigger build athletes seem to do better at LC. Which may make it harder for Potter to do well.
Can’t believe that the camera was busy looking at a tree and an empty piece of road while Yee made the catch.
Amazing race and finish
Crazy pacing there
Wilde has lost so many sprints to Yee he probably decided he needed to break before the end. It nearly worked.
Roll on Monday, GB v. France in a race for the ages.
A former pupil of mine is in the women’s quad crew. Could be a really good day….
Haug does alright though, Beth is the same height as LCB, so light but not small. The group she trains with has a real mix so has Astle to measure against if she wants to go long.
Completely missed the finish. Was watching on iPlayer whilst on a work call - then it cut away to some sort of boat thing.
This aged well
I’ve just watched it back to make sure it wasn’t me, a tree, the 2 Portuguese, a bridge and then a quick shot of Hayden and there was Alex. Awful coverage yet again. Woke gone mad I tell ya
The overhead of Wilde just before the cutaway he looks cooked, easy to say in hindsight.
‘Kin ‘ell x2!!!
WOWOWOWOWOW
What a finish
What a finish in the women’s 4 sculls!
Yeah done the same. Awful production
It was a downhill section where he closed it right down - would’ve been similar to Leeds a few years back?
Just incredible. They looks out of it and overturned a 5m deficit
They channelled Yee for that finish!
Well, well, well.
Have taken Henry to the zoo because, let’s face it , watching draft legal tri is incredibly dull.
Just having an early lunch and wound back iPlayer to watch the last 1km, reckon I’ve played a blinder on that
