Just need 5 or 6 fans at full pelt to get that added realism

Yeah set those fans up with an open oven at 220 degrees between them and your turbo set up.

Is this right

I’m not only impressed that you own a protractor … but you own two?! Wow.

Don’t forget the volcanic rock just a couple of feet to one side

You could get one of those little free standing braziers and put some hot coals on them

The 220 was meant to be a reference to the temperature of the oven. :see_no_evil: (with a passing reference to our favourite tri mag)

…and 350 completed shitfaced Irish teenagers.

You’re only allowed to ride the volcano circuit and Tempus Fugit on Zwift

I haven’t entered for 2021, but I really hope it goes ahead, and I hope it goes well for the organizers and athletes - it’s such a great race.

Good luck to all those doing it, I’m (under-trained, overweight and) envious.

Picture of a strange monkey lizard thing would fit right in

I’m trying to sort accommodation for May. Any tips? Seem to remember someone recommending a cheap and cheerful 1 bed complex in PDC?

That was me… its Club Oceano

Thanks @magnacarter I’ll check it out :+1:

Seconded, although with both of us there you may wish to seek alternative accommodation!

We stayed here

Was fairly cheap, 5 minute walk to the start line. Good buffet food.

Only downside was it was full of IM twats.

i am holding fire on booking accom in current climate

Mine was carried over from 2020 booking but would be pretty surprised if it goes ahead. Very half-arsed approach to training too now
