Great that they were so quick in getting back. But yeah. Bummer!
Jeez that is very unlucky/lucky.
Hope you can still make the best if your holiday out in Kona.
Oh no to your foot but oh yes to their quick response. Time to soak it all up and work on some tan lines then this week. Hope it’s not hurting too much.
That is really unlucky @TROSaracen, but great news about the deferral. Wishing you a speedy recovery
I feared the worst for IM’s reply so delighted to hear they’ve deferred you. What incredibly bad luck to get an injury! I hope you can at least enjoy the atmosphere while you rest up.
@TROSaracen , wow that is incredibly unlucky. Want to say something positive; so the deferral is good and you can hopefully soak up all of the atmosphere of the race and of course 2 years, which will fly by, to get even faster
Great news and kudos to them.
You’ll have aged up 2 groups won’t you
What are the odds, but glad about 2026
Gutted for you, glad IM have sorted you out quickly
That’s really shit luck @TROSaracen .
Unreal luck, but glad this cloud has silver linings!
Track down Bob Babbitt down at Huggo’s, tell him your story and ask if he can get you on the list for the TGINR (thank god I’m not racing) party on Friday night. They used to have some awesome medals for the attendees from photos I’ve seen online in the past.
thats so unlucky - glad they are letting you defer to next year.
That’s grim…sometimes life just sucks…
Anyone going to stick their neck out with predictions.
I’ll probably be watching until the end of the bike again
Tricky this far out, but I’d go:
LCB if she’s fit
Haug
Kat
Think there could be a Dain on the podium
At least one Scandi will do well
What does Thorsten say?
Looks like a 5 horse race.
Laidlow, Ditlev, von Berb, Iden, Blummenfelt. With Lange also in the mix.
Based on absolutely nothing, I’ll go
Ditlev
von Berg
Iden
Blummenfelt
Ditlev
Laidlow
