Also, we found, they were massive American wannabes. The kiddos at least. There was a massive influence of American pop culture there.

We thought the same though. Deffo not the home and away dream that the marketing material likes to portray.

Yeah - hailstones the size of golfballs the day I landed, wasn’t prepared for that at all
It was around the time of the Olympics being built. Not the actual event. Remember Bondi having a stadium on it

A person who lives and works from home in a Vegan household. You are right though, the burger was too much and I only ate half and just touched the chips

On last day I had a Creole Crab and Prawns combo, that was $50, 2 beers were $9 each, tip was $12 to make $80. Not a fancy place… however, it was very nice.

What is wrong with 2 beers? I can only claim for one though

Yeah culture/language etc all seems to be a strange mix of British and American (even more than Britain has moved towards American culture) with a very small amount of their own interests.

10miles on bike and 1.6miles on run seems OK to me but Ive never stepped off a bike after 112miles in midday heat in a caudren like Hawaii to run a marathon.

Interesting if it does stay like that, maybe reached a tipping point with the locals as well now.

They were asking for volunteers for StG recently as well.

The FPros get a bit of a raw deal with coverage too, being on a Thursday is surely going to reduce the number of :eyes: on their race
