but did you run in “cushioned” shoes before? Surely that’s the biggest difference on comfort side of things, the cheating shoes would all be so massively in the “cushioned” branding compared to any other shoe, if you’d run in “normal” shoes before they would not have felt the same at all.
Yes, I’d run in a spectrum of racing flats, to cushioned shoes across both races and training.

Not so impressed with the Zoom tempo…
I can feel the response in the heel, but there is less so in the forefoot and I am funding them them less beneficial to my form and pace…that said, i am fatigued so will reserve judgement until I feel more fresh…
i am scuffing in them which o guess is both fatigue and the depth of sole…

Does seem surprising they’ve already backtracked on the “no prototype” rule. It’s been in play for what, less than a year?!
If you’re still maintaining, I assume, the on sale requirement for world championships and the Olympics, I don’t see how you allow an athlete to wear a shoe one week, then ban them the next.
